I love living out in the country like we do! The minute I turn the corner for our road, I can feel the tension and daily stress melt away. As I drive down the canopy covered road and watch for deer, turtles, and wild turkey, I love to see all that God has created living in my neighborhood.
Yesterday, as we were coming home (Marne, Kelsey and I car pooled to save a little gas- and be GREENER) we had this amazing blue bird swoop in front of us! I know why they call it the blue bird of happiness- how can you be sad seeing this brilliant little bird flit around happily unaware that you have bills, and clients and paperwork waiting for you!
Then as we pulled up- we noticed a BABY Jennett!
Our neighbors the Coopers (kitty corner from our house)have a Jennett Called Star- it's like a donkey but the male is the Jack- she had a BABY!
We quickly pulled into the driveway and ran across the street to see. Star is her name and she PROUDLY brought the baby over for us to ooohhh and ahhh over. I even got to pet the baby a
minute!
It's she sweet?

Marne and I went and talked to Lori and suggested the baby be named "Twinkle" as in "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star!" She liked that and will consider it... (that's what I'll call her no matter what they decide! LOL)

She sure is cuter than that emu that came to visit us when we first moved in!
